Alex Talasman works with great energy! This same energy is visible in his paintings. Body and mind in perpetual motion, he possesses an unrivalled talent as an artist, taming the medium (paper, card, canvas, etc…) and offering us his vision of “life as it comes”. In his studio, colours and shapes are vividly brought to life by this painter of movement.
Biography
Born in Romania in June 1952, Alex Talasman spent his childhood in Tulcea, on the Danube delta. After studying for 4 years at the Bucharest Institute of Fine Arts, he moved to Canada in 1981 - firstly to Toronto and then to Vancouver. He worked as a graphic artist and designer, particularly in advertising.
He moved to France in 1987, settling in Lyon, and devoted himself entirely to drawing and painting.
Alex Talasman lives and works in Lyon.
